“Today is a good day to try.”-Quasimodo, The Hunchback of Notre Dame

I decided to start off with this quote because I think it sort of reflects a mindset that I want to have. To try is one of the most important things you can do, it is what allows you to grow and change and evolve into a better or different version of yourself. You cannot become successful without trying. This is a quote I had in mind when I decided to try and create a community with this website. I have had this domain name since I was around eight and to be honest while I always wanted to do something with it, I never put in the effort or tried to hone what that something was. And so, nearing the end of my first year of college, I have decided that today (well not literally today but you get the point) I am going to try; I’m going to put in the effort to try and grow this little corner of the internet and hope that it reaches someone and that from there it spreads until we have our own little community. I don’t know what the future holds and maybe a few years from now I’ll look back and won’t have reached the success that I’ve hope for, but that is okay because “today is a good day to try”.
